Three party builds that carried me through Emberfall Saga

Emberfall Saga clicked for me the moment I stopped treating my four characters as separate units and started building them as a team. Early on I lost fights I should have won, purely because my damage dealer kept dying before doing anything useful. Fixing that was mostly about party composition.

The build I leaned on most was a front-line tank, two flexible damage characters, and a support who could both heal and buff. The key is the support, honestly. A single well-timed buff turns a risky turn into a safe one, and the game loves to punish you for going in without a plan.

For the harder scenarios I swapped to a more aggressive setup, trading some survivability for burst. It's riskier, but on timed fights it's often the only way to finish before you get overwhelmed. Learning when to switch is half the game.

My advice: don't over-invest in one build too early. Spread your upgrades a little until you've seen what the campaign throws at you, then specialize. Emberfall rewards flexibility more than raw power, which is refreshing for a mobile RPG.
