Where people get stuck in Lantern Hollow
Lantern Hollow is a fair game, but its puzzles rely on you noticing small details, and it's easy to blow past them. Almost every time I got stuck, the answer was already on screen; I just hadn't looked properly. So the first piece of advice is boring but true: slow down and examine everything.
The early lighthouse section catches a lot of people. The solution depends on a note you can easily skip, so if you're stuck there, go back and re-read anything you can tap. The game rarely hides things behind complex logic; it hides them behind inattention.
Later on there's a sequence puzzle that threw me because I assumed it needed numbers. It doesn't. It's about the order you've seen things in the story. Once I stopped overthinking, it solved itself in about a minute.
If you're truly stuck, the best move is to step away and come back. This is a slow, cozy game and it reads better that way anyway. Brute-forcing a point-and-tap adventure just makes it frustrating, and Lantern Hollow deserves a calmer approach.
